LOG_EAM_SIMPLICITY_3: Business Function Simplified Management of EAM Functions 3 (New)

Use

As of SAP enhancement package 7 for SAP ERP 6.0 SP05 (EA-APPL 617), you can use the business function Simplified Management of EAM Functions 3 (LOG_EAM_SIMPLICITY_3).

This business function enables you to use various functions for processing maintenance documents on the SAP Web UI for Plant Maintenance that up to now were only available in SAP GUI transactions.

You can use the features of this business function in the following ways:

• In SAP NetWeaver Portal with the business packages Business Package for Maintenance Worker 1.61 and Business Package for Generic EAM Functions 1.61

• In SAP NetWeaver Business Client with the PFCG roles Maintenance Worker (SAP_COCKPIT_EAMS_MAINT_WORKER2) and Generic EAM Functions (SAP_COCKPIT_EAMS_GENERIC_FUNC2)

In addition to business function LOG_EAM_SIMPLICITY_3, you have also activated the following business functions:

• LOG_EAM_SIMPLICITY (Simplified Management of EAM Functions)

• LOG_EAM_SIMPLICITY 2 (Simplified Management of EAM Functions 2)
