LOG_EAM_VE_INT: Assignment of Documents to Maintenance Orders (New)

Use

The business function EAM, Integration with SAP 3D Visual Enterprise (LOG_EAM_VE_INT) is available as of the following releases:

• Enhancement package 6 for SAP ERP 6.0 SP05 (EA-APPL 606)

• Enhancement package 6 for SAP ERP 6.0, version for SAP HANA

This business function enables you to display, create, and assign documents when you process maintenance orders in SAP GUI and on the SAP Web UI for Plant Maintenance. You can create new documents or search for documents and then assign them at order level or operation level. You can navigate to a document info record and open the original application file, as long as it is stored on a central document server. You can display documents for maintenance notifications and for the following reference objects of the maintenance order: equipment, functional location, and assembly.

This business function enables you to use the function LOG_EAM_CI_6: Assignment of Documents to Maintenance Orders (New) in SAP GUI (transactions IW31, IW32, and IW33). This function is described in the Enterprise Asset Management Part 6 (LOG_EAM_CI_6) business function. This business function also enables you to use the document assignment function on the SAP Web UI for Plant Maintenance.
