LOG_EAM_CI_6: Enhanced Document Flow in Maintenance Orders (New)

Use

The business function Enterprise Asset Management Part 6 (LOG_EAM_CI_6) is available as of the following releases:

  • SAP ERP 6.0 SP21 (EA-APPL 600)
  • Enhancement package 2 for SAP ERP 6.0 SP11 (EA-APPL 602)
  • Enhancement package 3 for SAP ERP 6.0 SP10 (EA-APPL 603)
  • Enhancement package 4 for SAP ERP 6.0 SP11 (EA-APPL 604)
  • Enhancement package 5 for SAP ERP 6.0 SP08 (EA-APPL 605)
  • Enhancement package 6 for SAP ERP 6.0 SP03 (EA-APPL 606)

This business function enables you to display three additional documents in the document flow for maintenance orders: Request for Quotation, Service Entry Sheet, and Invoice. The navigation has also been simplified, enabling you to go directly to each document just by double-clicking on it in the document flow.

In addition, the Business Add-In BAdI: Display Additional Columns in Document Flow (EAM_CC_DOC_FLOW_ADD_COLUMS) is available with a default implementation. With the default implementation, the system displays additional columns that are relevant for the various document categories and any available information. If you want more columns to be displayed or want to change existing ones, you can use your own implementation to define which additional information you want the system to display for which document categories.

Effects on Existing Data

In the Display Document Flow transaction (IW12), there are three new checkboxes in the Filter group box: Request f. Quotation, Invoice Document, and Service Entry Sheet.

Using the default implementation of BAdI: Display Additional Columns in Document Flow, the system displays additional table columns. For more information, see the BAdI documentation in Customizing for Plant Maintenance and Customer Service --> System Enhancements and Data Transfer --> Business Add-Ins.
