LOG_EAM_CI_6: List Editing for Technical Objects with Characteristics (New)

Use

The business function Enterprise Asset Management Part 6 (LOG_EAM_CI_6) is available as of the following releases:

  • SAP ERP 6.0 SP21 (EA-APPL 600)
  • Enhancement package 2 for SAP ERP 6.0 SP11 (EA-APPL 602)
  • Enhancement package 3 for SAP ERP 6.0 SP10 (EA-APPL 603)
  • Enhancement package 4 for SAP ERP 6.0 SP11 (EA-APPL 604)
  • Enhancement package 5 for SAP ERP 6.0 SP08 (EA-APPL 605)
  • Enhancement package 6 for SAP ERP 6.0 SP03 (EA-APPL 606)
  • Enhancement package 7 for SAP ERP 6.0 (EA-APPL 607)

This business function enables you to work with layouts for displaying characteristics in list editing for technical objects (functional locations and pieces of equipment). You have the following options:

  • Change and save layouts for characteristics
  • Choose a layout for characteristics
  • Manage layouts for characteristics

When you change and save layouts for characteristics, you can also define user-specific layouts.

Up to now, you were only able to display a maximum of 20 classification characteristics in the technical object lists. This business function enables you to increase the number of characteristics displayed in the SAP List Viewer (ALV). For the prerequisites for this function, see SAP Note 1663118.

Effects on Existing Data

In the following transactions, the pushbutton Layout for Characteristics is new:

  • List Editing (functional location) Change (IL05) or Display (IH06)
  • List Editing (equipment) Change (IE05) or Display (IH08)
