PM_LCAM_CN_EAM1: Regular Tasks (New)

Use

As of EAPPLGLO 607 SP04, business function PM, Regular Task Topics for China (LOG_LCAM_EAM_CN_1), you can apply new country-specific functions in addition to the standard Enterprise Asset Management(EAM) functions.

The new system functions support the creation and management of regular maintenance tasks. Regular tasks may include activities such as cleaning, inspections, routine or preventative maintenance, or equipment calibration. Regular tasks are used to ensure that operating and standby equipment are functioning normally.

The new solution offers you the following functions:

  • You can define various types of regular task, define their master data, and establish frequencies for their completion
  • You can generate a schedule of regular tasks by date, shift, and location, using Regular Task Scheduling (transaction REGT1).
  • You can include adhoc tasks in the task schedule, by creating tasks with reference to tasks that exist in the task schedule
  • You can investigate regular tasks that have been planned, scheduled, or postponed using the Regular Tasks Status Overview (transaction REG_VIEWTASK)
  • You can plan and manage shifts by defining shift planning data. Shift planning data consists of daily and period work schedules that are assigned to work schedule rules. The rules are ultimately assigned to crews
  • You can generate a shift schedule by date, shift, and location, using the Shift Schedule (transaction SFTP1)
  • You can investigate shift schedule data using the Shift Schedule Search (transaction SFTP2)
  • You can review and change a shift schedule using Shift Schedule Maintenance (transaction SFTP3)

Effects on Existing Data

The area menu has been enhanced with new entries under Plant Maintenance→Operations and Safety Management for China → Regular Tasks.
