Authorizations in Resource Management (Enhanced)

Use

As of SAP Portfolio and Project Management 5.0 SP08, project-specific authorizations obtained through role or resource assignment can be deleted automatically when the corresponding role or staffing is deleted. The affected authorizations may have been changed after their original assignment. For this reason, you can decide whether the delete function is to be applied to all authorizations related to the role or resource, or only to those that remain unchanged. You can define this deletion condition generically for all roles and staffings, or you can specify it in a dialog box when deleting individual roles or staffings.

To activate the function and specify the processing details, implement method CHANGE_AUTH_ON_ROLSTAFF_DEL in Customizing for SAP Portfolio and Project Management under Project Management -> Resource Management -> Basic Settings for Roles -> BAdI: Authorizations in Resource Management.
