Enhancements from SAP Portf. and Proj. Mgmt 5.0 (Changed)

Use

In SAP Portfolio and Project Management 5.0, various enhancements were delivered which had to be activated by implementing a BAdI method or setting a global switch in Customizing. As of SAP Portfolio and Project Management 6.0, many of these enhancements are active in the standard system. Below, you will find an overview of the Portfolio Management enhancements whose standard settings have been changed.

Enhancements Without Activation BAdI or Switch

The following enhancements have been activated in the standard system. The corresponding BAdI call or Customizing switch has been removed.

1743688	The creation of change documents for financial and capacity planning is enabled in the standard system.
1780409	You can move an item or initiative from one bucket to another if you have Create authorization for the original bucket and the new bucket.
1756616	In the item and initiative header, the status icon of decision points is displayed instead of the decision point icon.
1758660	Item and initiative effort are calculated automatically from the relevant capacity planning values. To activate the automatic calculation of the headcount, you still need to implement method CALCULATE_ACTUAL_HEADC of Business Add-In Calculation of Portfolio Item Alerts.
1755486	In addition to the project name, a column for the project number is displayed on the Resource Overview screen within Resource Management.
1665970	When maintaining resources in Portfolio and Project Administration, you can maintain recurring availabilities and select dates from a calendar.

Enhancements Activated Using a Customizing Switch

The following enhancements have been activated in the standard system. You can revert to the old settings by maintaining a global switch in Customizing for SAP Portfolio and Project Management under Portfolio Management -> Global Customizing -> Global Settings -> Override Default Global Settings.

0002	0011	Internal number assignment to item and initiative versions is active in the standard system.
0002	0012	The financial and capacity planning data of Portfolio Management objects are displayed using the SAP List Viewer (ALV).
0007	0032	When you create an item or initiative, only the item or initiative types assigned to the current portfolio type are available.
0002	0016	The Portfolio Management objects assigned to buckets are accumulated in the bucket structure and the classification hierarchy. The accumulated numbers are displayed in the bucket dashboard.
0007	0039	Reporting using the Business Context Viewer can be carried out for selected items or initiatives in the item or initiative dashboard.
0006	0022	On the Metrics subview of items or initiatives, the system displays either the metrics assigned to the item or initiative type, or all global metrics for item or initiative types without metrics assignment.
