Enhancements from SAP Portf. and Proj. Mgmt 5.0 (Changed)

Use

In SAP Portfolio and Project Management 5.0, various enhancements were delivered which had to be activated by implementing a BAdI method or setting a global switch in Customizing. As of SAP Portfolio and Project Management 6.0, many of these enhancements are active in the standard system. Below, you will find an overview of the Project Management enhancements whose standard settings have been changed.

Enhancements Without Activation BAdI or Switch

The following enhancements have been activated in the standard system. The corresponding BAdI call or Customizing switch has been removed.

1407025	Mirrored task data is displayed in the Table view of the project structure.
1599885	The severity icon of assigned subprojects and the Copy Subproject Data pushbutton are displayed in the Basic Data view of tasks. You can still adjust the mapping of subproject data to tasks by implementing method TRANSFER_SUBPROJECT_DATA of Business Add-In Check/Change Fields in Project Management.
1605603	Sold-to party, customer number, organization responsible and responsible organizational unit can be maintained and displayed in the project template header.
1677356	You can add project views to your browser favorites.
1759150	The milestone trend analysis is enabled in the standard system. You still need to activate it for your project types.
1769591	The copying of operational projects is enabled in the standard system.
1762659	The Gantt chart optimization, which enables you to display additional phase and task information directly on the Gantt chart, is active in the standard system.
1781505	Project Management dashboards are refreshed automatically when a project or project element is saved.
1774688	Original task data such as the responsible role or resource, duration and work, status, priority and relevancy for approval is displayed in the Detail view of the mirrored task.
1781253	When editing projects, you can select and delete multiple roles at a time.

Enhancements Activated Using a BAdI

The following enhancements have been activated in the standard system. You can adjust the settings or revert to the old settings by implementing a BAdI method.

When you choose Resource Search on the Resources view of a project, the search is carried out immediately using default search criteria.	CPRO_RES_SEARCH, START_SEARCH_AT_ONCE
When a role or staffing is deleted in a project, a dialog box is displayed on which you can specify whether the related project-specific authorizations should be deleted as well.	DPR_AUTH_STAFFPRO, CHANGE_AUTH_ON_ROLSTAFF_DEL

Enhancements Activated Using a Customizing Switch

The following enhancements have been activated in the standard system. You can revert to the old settings by maintaining a global switch in Customizing for SAP Portfolio and Project Management under Project Management -> Basic Settings -> Override Default Global Settings.

0002	0015	When you filter Milestones in the Structure view of the project monitor or the multi-project monitor, all other project element types are deselected automatically so that only tasks are filtered.

Others

You can replace users and resources in multiple objects, relevant subobjects, and in role-task assignments. The menu option Replace User/Resource is visible by default in the SAP NetWeaver Business Client. If you are using SAP Portfolio and Project Management in the SAP NetWeaver Portal, you still need to edit the portal page CPR_REPLACE_SHOWCASE and set the attribute Invisible in Navigation Area to No (see SAP note 1624101).
