Optimization of Background Evaluation (Enhanced)

Use

As of SAP Portfolio and Project Management 6.0, the background evaluation of projects using report DPR_EVE_BATCH_DPO has been optimized as follows:

• The report can now be executed in several parallel tasks. On the selection screen of the report, you specify the percentage of the free work processes to be used for the load balancing (see field % Usage of Free Work Processes).

• You can choose to run the report for the sole purpose of determining and updating the severities in the project (see field Only Determine Severities on the selection screen). In this case, the report does not create or save evaluations and its runtime is reduced.
