LOG_PP_XS_RTG_PO: Changes to Menu

Use

In SAP ECC 6.0, Enterprise Extension SCM, Enhancement Package 3 (EA-SCM 603) Business Function XSteps in Routing and Production Order, the following changes have been made to the SAP menu within the framework of the integration of the execution steps (XSteps) in shop floor control:

  • The menu option Process Integration has been included in the Shop Floor Control menu. This includes the settings for control instructions, work instructions, process messages, and the PP/PDC interface.
  • The background jobs for process integration have been included under Shop Floor Control -> Tools -> Schedule Background Jobs.
  • The function Process Message Evaluation has been included under Shop Floor Control -> Info System.
  • In the menu Production Planning for Process Industries -> Process Management, the following functions have been replaced or are additionally offered:
  • Process Management -> Process Messages -> Message Monitor

(Transaction CO54 replaced by CO54XT)
Interface adjusted to control instructions.
  • Process Management -> Control Recipe -> Monitor for Control Instructions/Recipes

(Transaction CO53 replaced by CO53XT)
Interface adjusted to control instructions.
  • The function Find PI Sheets/Work Instructions (transaction CO60XT) is offered in addition to the previous function Process Management -> PI Sheet -> Find (transaction CO60).

Under Production -> Shop Floor Control -> Process Integration, only the enhanced functions are offered.
  • the folder XSteps with the archiving function has been included under Production → Master Data → Routings → Extras.
  • The function for archiving XSteps has also been included under Production -> Shop Floor Control -> Tools.
