LOG_PP_SRN_02: Shift Report (New)

Use

As of SAP Enhancement Package 5 for SAP ERP 6.0, Enterprise Extension SCM (EA-SCM 603), business function Enhancements to Shift Report and Shift Note (LOG_PP_SRN_02), you can combine several shift reports in a PDF form. In addition you can include quality notifications in the shift report. The following individual new functions are offered:

  • Enhanced Preview Functions
If you use the class CL_COCF_SR_PDF for the shift report, you can make use of the enhanced preview functions. The preview now consists of three columns:
  • Shift Report in Form of a PDF

  • Navigation Tree

In the navigation tree, all sections of the shift report selected are represented hierarchically starting with the cover page.
  • Detail Area

Starting from the navigation tree, you can display further information by double-clicking. These details are shown in the detail area in the form of a table. Thus, for example, you can double-click on the List of Confirmations in the Confirmations section to obtain a table with the list of confirmations. Starting from the table, you can use the Display function key to display the individual confirmations.
You can use the BAdI COCF_BD_SHIFT_REPORT_PREVIEW to influence the detail data displayed by suppressing the standard navigation and provide a different detail view.
  • New Section for Quality Notifications
In this enhancement package, the shift report has been enhanced through the addition of the list of quality notifications.
In addition, the new BAdI COCF_BD_SR_QM_SECTION is provided. This BAdI enables you to influence the selection of the quality notifications.
  • Protect Generated Shift Reports from Changes
Previously, the PDFs generated for the shift reports were not protected from changes. As of this enhancement package, you can specify that the generated shift report is to be protected from changes. You do this by setting the Protect Documents indicator in the IMG activity Define Shift Report Types.
