LOG_PP_PI_PMA_01: Archiving of PI Sheets and Work Instructions (New)

Use

As of SAP Enhancement Package 5 for SAP ERP 6.0, Enterprise Extension SCM (EA-SCM 605), the business function Archiving of PI Sheets and Work Instructions (LOG_PP_PI_PMA) is available. You can use this business function to optically archive PI sheets and work instructions and later display them.

Previously, you were only able to optically archive (browser-based) PI sheets if you were simultaneously using the optical archiving facility for batch records. Before now, work instructions were not archivable.

This business function now enables you to carry out the optical archiving of PI sheets and work instructions without simultaneously having to use the optical archiving facility for batch records.

The following functions are offered:

  • Archiving of PI sheets and work instructions
  • Display of archived PI sheets and work instructions
  • Deletion of the database content of archived PI sheets and work instructions (thereby improving system performance)

The new transaction for the optical archiving of PI sheets and work instructions is available via the SAP Easy Access Menu under Logistics --> Production - Process --> Process Management ---> PI Sheet --> Archiving and under Logistics --> Production --> Shop Floor Control --> Process Integration --> Work Instructions --> Archiving.
