BOMs: Archiving

Description

The functionality for archiving BOMs and deleting them from the database will only be generally available for release 3.0E. However, if you want to archived BOMs in release 3.0D, please contact SAP.

The standard SAP system already contains default system settings. For BOMs, archiving object CS_BOM is defined.

If you want to check or change the default settings, perform the following step:
Define control parameters for archiving sessions.

To call the archiving function from the bills of material menu, proceed as follows: Extras -> Delete -> With archiving.
