Changes in Customizing for Engineering Change Management

Scope of Functions

In the Customizing step Enter headings for parameter maintenance you now enter the effectivity parameter and the suffix in two separate columns in the table instead of the internal characteristic number.

As well as this, you can also enter headings for different effectivity types separately. This is useful if you for instance use an effectivity parameter in two different effectivity types.

Example

For your company, you define the MATERIAL effectivity type, which contains the MATNR effectivity parameter. You use the SERNR effectivity type as well, which also contains the MATNR effectivity parameter. You can enter a different heading for the single value MATNR_LO in the MATNR effectivity type than for the single value MATNR_LO in the SERNR effectivity type.
