Capacity planning: Changed functions in capacity evaluation
Description
This release note lists functions that have changed in the area of capacity evaluation in Release 3.0.
Change in the layout of the detailed capacity list
In Release 3.0, you can define your own profiles in capacity evaluation Customizing in addition to the profiles already supplied for setting up the detailed capacity list. In these profiles, you can specify, among other things, the field selection, the sorting of the fields on the detailed capacity list and how these fields are grouped together.
Installation information
During the release upgrade, SAP table settings are only imported into customer tables in client 000. If you also want to copy these settings into other existing clients, proceed as follows:
- Log on to the system with the client into which you want to copy the table settings for capacity evaluation.
- Display the present release note.
- If you want to copy the settings for capacity evaluation, execute the following function:
Copy the settings for capacity evaluation
To be able to carry out evaluations in capacity planning in clients other than client 000, the sets for the initial screens and selection screens supplied by SAP in the standard system must also exist in these clients. If you want to copy the sets into a client other than client 000, log on with this client.
If you want to import the sets for capacity evaluation into the client and have authorization to maintain client-independent tables, execute the function below.
If you do not have authorization to maintain client-independent tables, contact your system administrator.
