Short text
Settlement in Collective Orders
Description
In the definition of order category (Customizing production orders), you can decide how the settlement of costs in the collective order should occur by using the indicator Coll.ord.process.
Planned costs
- If the 'Coll.ord.process.' indicator is set, the direct production assemblies are valued using the pricing strategy for product costing.
- If the 'Coll.ord.process.' indicator is not set, the price of the direct production assemblies is determined by the order costing for the corresponding orders.
Actual costs
- If the 'Coll.ord.process.' indicator is set, automatic goods movements occur between the production orders in a collective order. This means that a subordinate production order delivers the material it produced to the warehouse. A goods issue for the superior order is posted simultaneously to the goods receipt posting. When the goods movement is posted:
- The subordinate order is credited with the costs
- The superior order is debited with the costs
- If the 'Coll.ord.process.' indicator is not set, no goods movements occur between the individual production orders. The costs incurred by each order are forwarded to the superior orders with the confirmation or order settlement.
