Business Process

Description

Calculating prices for confirmed activties and planned costs can be be carried out using business processes. You assign a business process to a work center on the Cost center tab page. When the work center is assigned to an operation in the routing, the business process is used when you confirm activities in the production order.

In previous releases process templates were the only way of accounting for process costs in production costing or in the costing of production orders. By linking the process to an operation in the routing, another method has become available. Settlement of the process is carried out as was for cost centers/activity type previously. During confirmation of the operation, the actual costs of the process are settled too.
