MRP: Collective display of the stock/requirements list

Description

This function provides you with the option of collectively selecting and displaying the current stock/requirements lists according to the following criteria:

  • product group
  • class, class type
  • MRP controller, procurement type, special procurement type, ABC indicator

When accessing the lists, you can also specify whether you only want the system to select the stock/requirements lists in which the material has undergone a change that is relevant to the planning run.

Procedure

  1. Starting from the main MRP menu, select Evaluations -> Stck/req.coll Display.
The system branches into the initial screen of the collective display of the stock/requirements lists.
  1. Enter the appropriate selection criteris and press ENTER.
If you want to select the stock/requirements lists via classes, you first branch into the classification data screens to make the necessary specifications there.
The system displays the overview of the individual materials for which stock/requirements lists were selected on the basis of the selection criteria.
In this overview, the materials are displayed in a table containing the following information:
  • range of coverage (days' supply)

  • receipt coverage

  • exception groups

  • material type

  • procurement type

  • special procurement type

  • MRP type

  • low-level code

  1. If you want to sort the materials according to your own specifications, for example, you want to display the stock/requirements lists with the exception messages in exception group 1, select, Edit -> Sort.
The system displays a dialog box with the sort criteria where you can select the sequence in which the materials are to be sorted by entering priorities.
  1. To access the individual stock/requirements lists, double-click the mouse on the material number.
