Assembly Processing: New Assembly Types
Description
You use the assembly type to define which procurement element or which procurement elements are created automatically when creating the sales order.
In release 3.0D, the following options are available for setting up the assembly type:
- planned order (repetitive manufacturing)
- planned order that can be converted into a production order
- production order
- network (project)
Here, the following procedures are supported:
- a 1:1 procedure, that is, exactly one procurement element exists for each sales order item (static procedure)
- a loose link exists between sales order items and procurement elements whereby you can split quantities and dates in the sales orders and in production (dynamic procedure)
