Availability Check: New Developments for Controlling Availability Check

Description

The control of the availability check (scope of the availability check was enhanced by the following functions:

  • Indicator Include restricted-use stock
If this indicator is selected, the restricted-use batch stock is included in the availability check.
  • Indicator Without subcontractor
If this indicator is selected, the subcontractor stock and the corresponding dependent requirements are not included in the availability check.
  • Indicator No storage location check
Selecting this indicator switches off the availability check at storage location level for the current scope.
If this indicator is set for sales/distribution with the checking rules A, AE, AO, AV, AW, then this indicator is also automatically set in the corresponding checking rules, B, BE, BO, BV, BW. This should avoid inconsistencies in the check between order and delivery.
  • Indicator Include dependent reservations
You can differentiate between
  • do not check dependent reservations

  • include all reservations

  • only check reservations that can be withdrawn

  • Indicator Include planned orders
You can differentiate between
  • do not check planned orders

  • include all planned orders

  • only include firmed planned orders

  • Only include planned orders that are completely confirmed

  • Indicator Include reqmts for release orders
You can differentiate between
  • do not check release order requirements
  • check release orders for stock transport orders and stock transport purchase requisitions
  • only check release orders for stock transport orders
