MRP: New functions in the collective display of the stock/reqmts list

Description

In release 3.0D, the following new selection criteria have been added to the collective display of the stock/requirements list:

• select by vendor with the following restrictions

• only materials with purchase orders/schedule lines/shipping notification

• only materials with purchase requisitions

• all materials of a particular vendor (if both restriction criteria have been selected)

• materials with purchase orders etc, whose delivery date lies before a certain date or whose delivery data lies within a certain interval

• Selection by production line with the following restrictions

• only materials with planned orders

• only materials with production orders/process orders

• all materials assigned to the production line (if both restriction criteria have been selected)

• materials with planned orders etc, whose order finish date lies before a certain date, or whose order finish date lies within a certain interval

Note: production lines

You can only select by materials for which a production line has been entered in the production version in the material master record and if this production version has been copied to the planned order, the production order or the process order. The system does not select by production lines or work centers that are recorded in the routing.

Moreover, the following search functions are also available in the overview of the stock/requirements list:

• Searching in the overview

In the overview you can use this function to search according to the following criteria:

• material number and material short text

• stock and receipt range of coverage (days' supply)

• exception groups

• Searching in lists

You can use this function to search directly from the list in the stock/requirements lists using the following criteria:

• materials with certain exception messages

• materials with certain MRP elements, if necessary limited by a period

In both search functions, the materials are flagged with the selected elements in the overview. Using the fucntion, Results sequence you can branch into the stock/reqmts list of the selected materials.

If you search using the "search in list" function, the selected criteria are highlighted. Select the pushbuttons, Next material and Previous material to process the selected materials.
