Enhancements to Reorder Point MRP with External Requirements
Description
The system includes sales orders and manual reservations in the requirements calculation in reorder point planning with external requirements (MRP type V1 and V2). In addition, you can set whether these requirements are relevant for MRP to the total planning horizon or only to the replenishment lead time of the material.
In release 4.0, it is possible to define which requirements the system is to include in the planning run, in addition to the customer requirements and manual reservations. To do this, select the appropriate fields in Customizing for MRP. The following requirements can be included:
- Stock transfer requirements based on stock transport requisitions, stock transport orders and stock transport schedule orders
- Dependent reservations based on production orders, maintenance orders and collective orders
- Requirements for material provided in subcontracting
