Evaluation Lists: Company- and User-Specific Configuration Possible

Scope of Functions

Up to now, you could adapt and save only a few parameters on a user-specific basis in the MRP list and the stock/requirements list.

Within the scope of the Enjoy Initiative, a range of additional possibilities has been developed that enable you to influence the selection and the optical layout of the data in the lists. This makes working with the lists more flexible and simpler, and it improves system performance.

Company-specific configuration

  • Definition of navigation profiles (Customizing)
In navigation profiles, you define transaction calls and group them together as profiles for particular user roles. The transaction calls can be general or specific, referring to individual MRP elements.
  • Definition of filters (Customizing)
You use selection rules to specify which MRP elements and which stocks are included in the calculation of quantities and stock. This enables you to define your own business views. You use display filters to specify which MRP elements and which MRP segments are displayed, and thus reduce the information that is displayed to a clearer selection.
  • Programming customer-specific access to the lists (reports)
Use the reports RMMD07EX and RMMD07DB to program your own access to the collective display of the stock/requirements list.
  • Programming customer-specific lists (function module)
The function module LM61XU11 MD_REQUIREMENTS_LIST_API includes the basic functions to set up the MRP list and the stock/requirements list. Use this function module to program lists that are tailored to the needs of your company.
At a later date, SAP will replace the function module with a BAPI.

User-specific configuration

  • Definition of settings for the access to the lists
You can specify which settings are active as standard when you access the MRP list and the stock/requirements list (overview tree, header details, filter, navigation profile, period display, and so on). You select filters, navigation profiles, and period splits. You save the settings permanently.
  • Navigation between materials using the overview tree
  • Double-click a material in the overtree to directly access the list for the selected material.

  • You switch the overview tree between the worklist tree, the order tree, and the product group tree.

  • You select which information is displayed in the overview tree, sort/group the materials displayed according to your needs, and save the settings permanently.

  • Definition of individual transaction calls
You can add to the navigation profiles, which are availabe to all users. You do this using individual transaction calls for the transactions to which you personally want to go from the list. The transaction calls can be general, which means that they refer to the material, or specific, refering to individual MRP elements.
  • Configuration of the columns in the lists
You adapt the sequence and width of the columns that are displayed as standard to meet your needs, and save these settings permanently in display variants. This does not include columns that are displayed only when they are filled.
  • Saving selection parameters in the initial screen for the collective display of the MRP list
In the initial screen for the collective display of the MRP list, you permanently save all the settings for selecting the data and for limiting the selection.
  • Definition of traffic light values
In the overviews for the collective displays and in the worklist tree, the materials are displayed with certain traffic light values (red, yellow, green). Red traffic lights next to materials immediately show you that these materials are critical and urgently need to be processed. The display of the traffic lights is controlled by ranges of coverage and exception groups. You change the standard settings for the traffic lights as you need and save them permanently.
  • Definition of print settings
Before you print collective overviews, a list is displayed, which you can print and edit. In this list, you sort and filter the information, define the sequence and width of the columns, and permanently save the settings in display variants.
