Displaying Documents

Use

If you have assigned documents (CAD drawings, text documents and so on) to a material, you can display these documents:

• from the stock/requirements list(transaction MD04): all documents that you have assigned to the material in the material master

• from the component overview of the planned order(transactions MD11, MD12, MD13): all documents that you have assigned to the material in the material master or that you have assigned to the material as a BOM item in the BOM.

The system displays the documents in an internal or external viewer.

You select the viewer in Customizing for document management in the IMG activity Define workstation application.
