Short text
Production Scheduling: Multi-System Evaluations (ALE)
Description
In release 3.0, all evaluations are carried out, multi-system, with individual layouts. Multi-system means that various database servers are used.
All data of a plant must be available in a logical system. On the other hand, several plants can be managed in one logical system.
On accessing the evaluation, the sytem checks whether the data of the desired plant exists in another logical system.
If no data is found in the partner system for the material, the system reads the data from its own system.
Reading data from other logical systems is carried out automatically on accessing the evaluation for the following evaluations:
- Planning result:
- Individual layout material
- Individual layout MRP controller
- Planning situation
- Individual layout material
- Individual layout product group
In the multi-plant planning situation, the multi-system evaluation is only carried out on request.
When accessing the multi-system evaluation, the system displays that data is read from other or its own logical system in the message line. A read log also exists in the evaluation in the menu option, Goto.
If an error occurs when reading the multi-plant evaluation or the product group evaluation for one of the materials in one of the plants or logical systems (for example, no authorization for displaying in another plant, no link to other logical systems), then the system only displays the data that could be determined.
In the read log, the system displays which errors have occurred. In the read log, the system also displays in which logical systems the evaluation data was determined.
Note
For MRP elements from other logical systems, no detailed data could be accessed.
To be able to carry out the evaluations, multi-system, the logical systems that are joined via a partner link, must be entered in Customizing of the central functions. Use the logical message type 'PRODL'. For further information on 'ALE', please read the online dokumentation, 'ALE user manual".
