LOG_PP_CFB: Weighing for Goods Movements (New)

Use

As of SAP enhancement package 6 for SAP ERP 6.0 (SAP_APPL 606), business function PP, Food and Beverage Industry (LOG_PP_CFB), when creating a goods movement, you can weigh the material on a scale connected to the ERP system and use the resulting weight data when you post the goods movement. The weight is recorded in the material document. The system creates a weight log that contains all the data generating during weighing.

Effects on Existing Data

The Weigh tab in the Goods Movement transaction (MIGO) is new. You enter the scale you want to use for weighing on this tab.

The Web Dynpro application Weight Log (CFB_WDA_WL_OVP) is new.

You make the settings for this function in Customizing for Production Planning for Process Industries under Process Order -> Scale Connection in the following Customizing activities:

• Define Scale Control

• Define Scale Group

• Assign Scale Group

You can use the Business Add-In BAdI: Modifications for Weighing to make various customer-specific modifications.
