Short text
Repetitive mfg: New functions in backflushing and reversing/cancel
Description
Creating planned orders when reversing the backflush
To recreate the planned orders that were reduced in the backflush function, you have the following options:
- the system creates no planned orders
- the system creates planned orders for the amount of the reversed goods receipt quantity on the current day
- the system creates planned orders in a background planning run that is automatically triggered by the reversal. The amount recorded in the planned order depends on the current requirements situation.
The options are defined as control parameters in the repetitive manufacturing profile.
Partial reversal
In some areas, for example, in the chemical indistry, it may make sense to backflush required quantities first - without knowing the precise quantities. Then after production is complete, the precise quantity is measured and the required quantity has to be corrected in retrospect.
For this purpose, you can use the function, "partial reversal with adjustment of individual components". To do this, you must only select Change parameters in the initial screen of the backflush function and instead of entering the movement type, you enter the movement type for reversal.
The complete functionality of the backflush function is available here when reversing a posting, for example, you can adjust individual components.
You must enter the appropriate reversal movement types in the repetitive manufacturing profile if you
want to use this function. In the standard system, the reversal movement types are calculated as follows:
"Standard movement type + 1"
- Note
-
You cannot benefit from this option if the activity posting is activated.
Background job for reprocessing the backlog from backflushing
A background job is available for reprocessing backlogs from backflushing. The background job triggers the reprocessing. When schdeduling the background job, the appropriate program is proposed and started later.
Note
Before planning the background job, you must create a variant for the program via ABAP/4 Workbench, ABAP/4 Editor, Goto.
You can then use the variant to limit the period for which the reprocessing is to be carried out.

Effects on Customizing
You must maintain the control data for the repetitive manufacturing profile in Customizing if you want to create planned orders when reversing the backflush.
Proceed
To be able to use the partial reversal function, you must also enter the reversal movement types in the repetitive manufacturing profile.
Proceed
In Customizing, you schedule the background job for reprocessing backlogs.
