Capacity Planning of Planned Orders in the Planning Table

Description

From Release 4.5A you can use the repetitive manufacturing planning table to capacity plan planned orders.

This function allows you to dispatch the planned orders in the planning table, taking available capacity into account. That is, the system checks the current capacity load utilization on the production line, and then dispatches the planned order. If no capacity is available on the desired date, the system looks for a date in the future, according to your settings in the strategy profile, and dispatches the planned order to this date. The production dates of the planned order are adjusted accordingly. Dispatched planned orders are assigned the indicator Capa. plnnd, which you can display in the header data of the planned order. The dispatched planned orders are displayed as dispatched in the capacity planning table.

If you want to change control parameters for dispatching purposes, you can change the strategy profile settings from the planning table.
