COEP % for Production Interface (Changed)

Use

As of Enterprise 4.70 Extension Set 2.0, the COEP% for Production Interface transaction (Accounting → Production Sharing Accounting → Processing → Daily Production Entry → Terminal Specific Data Entry Management → COEP % for Production Interface) for Production Sharing Accounting has changed.

Within the transaction, there is a new field, the Partner field, with which you specify the crude oil entitlement percentage (COEP) for each partner who is a partner in a production sharing contract for a particular period.

You use this transaction to enter the data required for the system to determine the crude oil entitlement percentage (COEP). The system applies the COEP to the monthly production by PSC to identify the contractor share and the government share of production.

Effects on Existing Data

The Partner field is now a required master data field; it must be completed in order for the system to carry out the COEP split among partners within a lifting partner group.
