Statement of Storage Entitlement (Enhanced)

Use

As of Enterprise 4.70 Extension Set 2.0, Production Sharing Accounting includes two versions of the Statement of Storage Entitlement report. Two transactions are available, one for each version.

One version of the report provides an overview of total stock entitlement for the government and each of the partners. If required, you can use this version to update the closing stock balance with stock adjustment data and make the updated balance available for use in the next quarter. The menu path is Accounting → Production Sharing Accounting → Information System → Statement of Storage Entitlement - Update Closing Stock.

There will no longer be inception-to-date calculations since the calculated closing stock for a quarter will be posted for use in the next quarter. The closing stock will be calculated as: closing stock = opening stock (from previous period closing stock) + stock adjustment + entitlement to production + production adjustment + other adjustment - total lifting.

The other version is a print-only version. It provides an overview of total stock entitlement for the government and each of the partners. It is for review and printing purposes and does not update the closing stock balance with adjustment data. The menu path is Accounting → Production Sharing Accounting → Information System → Statement of Storage Entitlement - Print Only.

Further, the Gross Entitlement (category 9) and Production Adjustment (category E) will always be displayed, while Other Adjustment (sum of categories C and A) will be displayed only if the amount is not zero.

The Storage Entitlement Report includes the option to display the details of the stock adjustments in the period.

In addition, the storage entitlement calculation can now handle combined products where it apportions back combined products to the assigned single products based on the ratio of quarterly gross production (without production adjustments) of the single products.

Effects on Existing Data

The start values of the closing stock table must be updated. To do so, you use the Data Browser transaction (Tools → ABAP Workbench → Overview → Data Browser) to enter the actual end values of the previous period (most likely a quarter).
