Terminal Interface to Production (Enhanced)

Use

As of Enterprise 4.70 Extension Set 2.0, the Terminal Interface to Production transaction in Production Sharing Accounting is enhanced. This transaction features the following new enhancements.

  • The Terminal Interface to Production is now independent of the company code, and the program itself determines the company code(s) to be used in the product volume assignment to the PSCs and partners.
  • The Terminal Interface to Production now uses the currency and exchange rate type from the Currency & Exchange Rate Types transaction to identify the currency related to the lifting data (such as a local transaction currency) to which the price currency should be translated. It then uses the exchange rates specified in the standard exchange rates table.
  • The Terminal Interface to Production also uses data from the Manual Weighted Average Price (WAP) for AL Sales transaction to display an error message prompting the user to enter the monthly average price manually in the Manual Weighted Average Price (WAP) for AL Sales transaction if no arm's length monthly average price/quarterly average price is found.
  • To reduce rounding differences, the level of posting has changed. The system first posts the lifting data by summarizing all the lifting entries by period, PSC, product and lifting partner group. It then summarizes the data by quarter instead of splitting for each lifting entry.
  • There is now a Display Only indicator that, when selected, displays article price calculation details for a production sharing contract.
  • The Terminal Interface to Production report now includes a column that displays the product.
