Federal Government: Treasury Offset (New)
Use
As of SAP R/3 Enterprise Public Services 2.0, the Federal Government solution includes a new function, designed to enable government agencies to mark records with a Treasury Offset Status and create a file for Treasury with records eligile for offset.
The following statuses are available:
- Eligible for Offset #
- The document meets requirements for offset and should be included in the next transmission to Treasury.
- Eligible for Offset, Under Investigation #
- That the document has been flagged, but should not be picked in the next Treasury transmission (investigation needs to be completed).
- Referred to Treasury, Uncollected #
- Document was already picked up and transmitted to Treasury. It should be excluded from further files.
- Referred to Treasury, Collected #
- Treasury was able to recover the money and send it to the agency (using OPAC).
At the time of customer invoice creation/parking, a new Treasury Offset Field has been provided that enables you to display the Treasury Offset Status.

The customer BAdI, RFFMFG_TREA_OFFSET, which allows you to define the date used in the ageing calculation and set up the Treasury Offset File Format.
