Budgetary Ledger Area Derivation
Use
As of SAP ECC 6.0, Enterprise Extension Public Sector Management (EA-PS 604), Enhancement Package 4, new fields added to the Budgetary Ledger (BL) area configuration allow you to better define their own business rules.
Additional criteria such as those listed below allow a more transaction-oriented approach in deriving additional BL areas.
- ACCOUNT_NUMBER,,,,GL Account
- ASSETTRTYP,,,,,,Asset Trans. Type
- TRANSAC,,,,,,,,Business Transaction
- BUD_PROCESS,,,,,,Budget Process
- BUDGET_PD,,,,,,Budget Period
Effects on Existing Data
The existing data are not affected unless if the BL correction program (RFFMFG_BL_CORR) is run for the existing document.

No data transfer is required.
