Use of the Budget Period in US Federal Government (New)

Use

As of SAP ECC 6.0, Enterprise Extension Public Sector Management (EA-PS 604), Enhancement Package 4 the budget period is used in the Federal Government solution as described below.

In general, all reports available in the US Federal information system menu that use the fund have been enhanced to use the budget period in the same way, as follows:

• As parameters or selection options on report selection screens

• In report output

• In internal report logic

• In authorization checking

US Federal Report Writer libraries 4F1, 4F2, 4FB and 4FG have all been enhanced to make budget period available as a characteristic.
