PSM_FM_CI_2: Enhancements for the Commitment Carryforward (New)
Use
As of SAP ECC 6.0, Enterprise Extension EA-PS, Enhancement Package 4 (EA-PS 604), Business Function PSM, Funds Management 2 (PSM_FM_CI_2), there are several new functions in the area of the commitment carryforward, which are summarized in this release note.
Reversing a Commitment Carryforward
You can use the message FICUSTOM190 to define for each user whether the commitment carryforward can be reversed if the open amount of an open item was changed in the receiver fiscal year.
Cascaded Parallel Processing for Commitment Carryforward
You can use technical performance parameters to set cascaded parallel processing for the commitment carryforward to improve the runtime if there are very large amounts of data.
Business Add-In for Updating User-Defined Tables in Commitment Carryforward
You can use the Business Add-In (BAdI) FM_CCF_APPLIC_CUST to update a table record in your table for each line item or line subitem carried forward in the commitment carryforward.
