FM Account Assignment Elements in SD Order BAPIs (New)

Use

As of SAP ECC 6.0, Enterprise Extension Public Sector Management (EA-PS 604), Enhancement Package 4, it is possible to specify account assignment directly in Sales and Distribution (SD) Order BAPIs BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2 and BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE. To facilitate this new function, the following new fields were added to SD item structure BAPISDITM:

• Fund (FUND)

• Funds Center (FUNDS_CTR)

• Commitment Item (CMMT_ITEM)

• Grant (GRANT)

This change allows users to enter Funds Management (FM) account assignment elements when creating and changing sales orders using SD BAPIs with the same result as when using the account assignment feature using SD Order Create and SD Order Change transactions.
