Prevent Purchase Order Price Change After Delivery Was Made (New)

Use

As of SAP ECC 6.0, Enterprise Extension Public Sector Management (EA-PS 604), Enhancement Package 4, prevention of purchase order price change after goods were received is possible.

The check on any purchase order price change issues a message if the price on a purchase order line is changed after goods were received. The price cannot be changed if an error message is issued. That can be used to avoid unwanted purchase order adjustments in Funds Management.

The message FICUSTOM 251 is customizable and the default is “No message”. The message is issued only if goods are received for the purchase order line and the commitment update is quantity-based.
