Grants Management Program Income (Changed)

Use

As of SAP ECC 6.0, Public Services (EA_PS 600), the handling of program income in Grants Management (GM) has changed.

The following scenarios are considered:

• To offset the program income of a grant against the expenses to be billed

A new class type (program income) is delivered for sponsored classes used for program income revenues.

During the resource-related billing of a grant, the expenses are retrieved according to the value types of the billing rule. If the user checks the Offset Program Income box in the selection screen, the revenues of the program income class are retrieved according to the value types of the billing rule and are offset against the expenses.

• To increase the budget of a grant (incoming or outgoing)

The existing Revenues Increasing the Budget feature has been enhanced, so that the receiving fund is not external and is marked for program income in the master data of the receiving grant.
