Closing of Open Amount for Earmarked Funds Documents (New)
Use
As of SAP enhancement package 4 for SAP ERP 6.0, Enterprise Extension Public Sector Management (EA-PS 604), you can close open amounts in earmarked funds documents, typically during year-end closing, by posting the value adjustments of the respective earmarked funds documents.
Effects on Existing Data
The following programs have been modified to support this function:
- Closing Operations: Execute Value Adjustments for Document Chains (transaction FMYC_VA)
- A new value adjustment type is available (4) that considers only precommitment and commitment documents for adjustment, but does not adjust funds reservation documents.
- Year closing: coverage reduction (transaction PFM_FABI00)
- You can select a value type that allows you to adjust commitment, precommitment, and funds reservation documents.
