PRS_ERP_CPILS1:Report Assignment Overview per Employee (New)

Use

As of SAP enhancement package 5 for SAP ERP 6.0 (EA-APPL 605), business function Commercial Project Inception & Lean Staffing (PRS_ERP_CPILS1), you can use the Power List Assignment Overview per Employee to display a detailed view of all assignments allocated to a specific employee.

You can use this report to display a detailed view of all assignments allocated to a specific employee.
For example, you can use this report in the business role of a delivery or staffing manager, to examine to which orders or customers a consultant is or has been assigned. This enables you to identify under- or over-employed consultants or prepare for a feedback session with a consultant.

Depending on your authorizations, you can start this report using different user interfaces:

  1. SAP Query
Navigation path: SAP Easy Access → Reporting → Employee Assignment

Alternatively you can execute transaction SQ01 using the following data:
    Query Area:,,,,Global Area (Cross-Client)
    Query Name:,,0SAWE_PSEA_Q00

  2. Power List
Navigation path: SAP Easy Access → Reporting → POWL Employee Assignment

Features

The report definition dialog displays the following fields, which you use to specify the scope of the report:

  • Assignment date
  • Assignment object type
  • Booking Status
  • Company code
  • Controlling Area
  • Cost center
  • Employee ID
  • Organizational unit

Choose the Apply button to use your report definition to generate a report that is immediately visible. The report can contain one or more entries, and each entry contains the following information:

  • Booking Status
  • CATS hours
  • CATS-relevant
  • Competency
  • Controlling Area
  • Cost Center
  • Employee ID
  • Expected number of days
  • First/last name
  • Indicator Missing CATS Authority
  • Maximum number of days of an assignment
  • Organizational Unit
  • Object ID
  • Object type
  • Object name
  • Start and end date of an assignment
  • Task Type
  • Task Level

If you use organizational data such as Company Code or Organizational Unit as search criteria, the report generation process first searches for employees who belong to the company code or organizational unit specified and displays the corresponding assignment data. If you do not specify any organizational data as search criteria, the list directly displays assignment data for all employees.

The report generation process only considers employees belonging to employee groups defined in the Customizing table Define Relevant Employee Groups.

Effects on Customizing

The data used in this report is retrieved using a data source. The extraction method is based on a function module stored in the function group SAWE_EXTR.
The report output is obtained using generated Infoset queries or Power Lists.

To extend the report Assignment Overview per Employee (for example, to include project-specific data), you must create an implementation of the Business Add-In (BAdI) SAWE_REPORTING. This Business Add-In provides a method that enables you to enrich the output data of the report. If you use this method, you have to regenerate the Infoset-queries or the Power Lists, or use a customer-specific output interface, such as SAP List Viewer.
