PRS_ERP_CPILS_2: Time Sheet (CATS) (Enhanced)
Use
As of SAP enhancement package 6 for ERP 6.0, business function Commercial Project Inception and Lean Staffing 2 (PRS_ERP_CPILS_2), cross-application time sheet (CATS) has been enhanced to include the following:
- Field validation
You can now define the field validations for staff assignments and forecast objects in CATS). The system validates the fields by comparing the staffing fields or the forecast object fields with the CATS fields.
- Employee role
You can now use the staffing attribute Role for every staff assignment in an engagement to describe the role of an employee. This facilitates the assignment of an approver for the time entered in CATS based on the object type. You can also generate role-specific employee worklists.
- Time recording
You can now record time at top-level WBS elements and all subordinate WBS elements. A limit check is carried out on all time entries made in CATS.

- SAP Customizing Implementation Guide → SAP Professional Services → Lean Staffing → Settings for Staff Assignment → Define Field Validations for Staff Assignments and Forecast Objects
- SAP Customizing Implementation Guide → SAP Professional Services → Lean Staffing → Settings for Staff Assignment → Maintain Staff Assignment Booking Indicator
