PRS_ERP_CPILS_2: Commercial Project Inception (Enhanced)
Use
As of SAP enhancement package 6 for ERP 6.0, business function Commercial Project Inception and Lean Staffing 2 (PRS_ERP_CPILS_2), commercial project set-up has been enhanced to include the following:
- Project definition data
Project definition data can be changed. You can also choose to hide project definition data.
- Creation and deletion of work breakdown structure (WBS) elements
Creation and deletion of WBS elements is possible. New WBS elements can be created and existing WBS elements can be deleted.
- User fields
A new tab, User Fields is available. Additional fields and corresponding values can be maintained by users in this tab. This replaces the use of transaction CJ20.
- User status
User status for WBS elements can be changed. This is done in the Basic Data tab.
- Improved usability
Tree view is available for WBS overview. The tree view presents a hierarchical view of information, which provides better usability and easier navigation.

To set up the Customizing activities for commercial project inception, choose the navigation path SAP Customizing Implementation Guide → SAP Professional Services → Commercial Project Inception
