PRS_ERP_CPILS_2: BF Commercial Project Inception & Lean Staffing 2 (New)
Use
As of SAP enhancement package 6 for SAP ERP 6.0 (EA-APPL 606), the business function Commercial Project Inception & Lean Staffing 2 (PRS_ERP_CPILS_2) is available.
The new business function comprises the following applications:
Commercial Project Inception
The Commercial Project Set-up application has been enhanced to include the following functions:,,
- Ability to change and hide project definition data
- Ability to create and delete WBS elements.
- Transaction CJ20 replaced with the addition of User Fields.
Lean Staffing
The Lean Staffing application has been enhanced to include the following functions:
- Ability to transfer staffing from previous engagements or staffing templates
- Ability to track staffing phases
- Ability to save candidate lists and use dates for staffing
- Ability to create automatic forecast based on employee assignment
Employee Forecast
Employee forecast has been enhanced with to include the following functions:
- Ability to forecast over long time periods has been simplified with the introduction of automatic forecast
- Handling of forecast objects differentiated with the option of recording time
- Publish information to users in the information area
Personal Object Worklists (POWL)
The following functions are now available:
- New POWLs for managers to provide them a better overview of engagement assignments of their team members
- Ability to add POWLs for projects to customer cockpit
- Existing POWLs enhanced to work with the new features developed as a part of this business function
Cross-Application Time Sheet (CATS)
CATS has been enhanced to include the following functions:
- Increased flexibility in the form of validation of time recordings based on staffing details
- CATS approval by project managers facilitated by the new roles in the lean staffing application
- Ability to capture time on top-level WBS elements
