Graphics in the Project System: New Functions in Release 3.0B
Description
With Release 3.0B, the following new functions became available in the graphic for both standard networks and networks in network maintenance, structure planning and the project information system.
- You can change your view of the (standard) network by grouping activities together according to:
- network
- WBS element
- To do this, select the menu option Edit -> Settings -> Grouping -> Network or WBS element. When you group by network, all activities in a network are displayed together, surrounded by a frame. The network number and subnetwork information are displayed in the frame. When you group by WBS element, the activities are displayed together in a frame according to the WBS element to which they are assigned. The WBS element identifier is displayed in the node.
- In both cases you can modify the display but you cannot change the WBS assignments.
- You can send a "snapshot" of a standard network or network structure graphic to another user in a mail by selecting the menu option (Standard) Network -> Send.... The recipient can view the graphic in the SAPOffice inbox.
- In the project information system structures/dates, you can now view the structure graphically. You can branch to the detail screens by double- clicking on the nodes in the structure graphic.
Effects on Customizing
No changes to Customizing are necessary.
