CO Planning Integration in WBS Elements

Description

As of Release 3.0B, pilot customers can activate planning integration for WBS elements. This function will be released to other customers with Release 3.0C.

Planning integration covers the following functions:

Updating Scheduled Activity

When you plan activity input, the sender cost center is credited in the the plan and the scheduled activity is updated.

Revaluation of Planning Objects When Activity Prices Change

When the price of a CO activity changes, the system automatically revalues the objects in integrated planning.

Recording Profit-Center Accounting

Planned costs from primary cost planning and activity-input planning are passed on to profit-center accounting.

Planned Settlement to Cost Centers

Integrated planning objects are settled periodically to cost centers.

All the integration functions are processed within a plan version. The price at which an activity is valued is always taken from the version where the activity input was planned.

Effects on Customizing

If you want to use the function for WBS elements, you must:

set the "Planning integration" indicator in the project profil (field group "Costs/revenues/finances")
