Choice as to How Availability Control Works

Description

As of Release 30F/PS/4, you can choose how availability control is to work for each FM area when using budget objects:

• Check on the lowest budget object on the way to the top within the hierarchy
  (way it worked previously and still the standard setting)

• Check on the lowest budget object with budget on the way to the top within the hierarchy
  (way it now works)

The new way of working is represented by the Check on the lowest budget object with budget indicator since the funds assignments can now "move around" with the budget.

If you want to use the new way that availability control works, you have to make the corresponding settings in Funds Management Customizing. For more information on this, refer to the Funds Management implementation guide in the "Define year-dependent parameters for availability control" section.
