1. Drilldown reporting

- Chart of accounts

These characteristics are already contained in the standard commitments/actuals drilldown report. In addition, you can use them for defining your own forms and drilldown reports.

1. New key figures:
   
   

- Period budget

- Commitments in Workflow

These key figures are not contained in the standard drilldown reports. However, you can use them for defining your own forms and drilldown reports.

The "Commitments in Workflow" key figure replaces three other previous standard key figures for Workflow. The various approval levels are now reflected in the "Amount type" characteristic.

1. Renaming of the "assigned" budget key figure

The "assigned" budget key figures have been renamed "distributable".

1. Hierarchical selection for funds centers and commitment items

When defining forms, you can now also specify a hierarchy node as the selection criterion for funds centers and commitment items. This means that the specified funds center or commitment item and all subordinate funds centers/commitment items are addressed.

Note:

You cannot use this functionality for the budget structure.

If you want to specify a hierarchy node as the selection criterion for funds centers or commitment items when creating a form, you must choose the Hier.nodes function in the dialog box in which you enter the characteristic values before entering the required funds center/commitment item.

In the subsequent dialog box, the system displays the name of the valid hierarchy (0SAP). You are not allowed to overwrite this value.

1. Classified selection

If you use classification as an additional selection criterion for your master data objects, you can use the classes created or the characteristics defined there as a selection criterion in drilldown reporting. This was previously only possible with line item reports.

You can only use classification for selection.

Note the folowing restrictions:

You can only use the functionality online and not in background processing.

You cannot use it for defining forms and reports.

You cannot call up any information using classification (classes used, characteristics, and so on) in the displayed lists.

1. Logical database: Indicator for master data hierarchical sequence

Sorting the reports which you create using the logical database is either alphanumeric or hierarchical. The standard setting is that objects are displayed in alphannumerich sequneces. This shortens the runtime of the program . If you require a hierarchical representation you must choose a sequence for the funds centers and/or commitment item hierarchy after calling up the report.

1. Line item reports

The output list for the "FI postings" line item report (RFFMEP1F) is now sorted by FI document number and no longer by FM document number.

• Customizing for +/- sign rule

The "Define +/- sign for info system" section has been added to the Funds Management Government Implementation Guide.

• Hierarchical display of the budget structure elements

Posting objects can no longer be selected individually as otherwise it may not be possible to set up the hierarchy.
