Short text

Mass Selection of Master Data

Description

As of Release 30F/PS/4, you can select the commitment item, funds center, fund, and budget structure element master data objects for editing via mass selection.

The "MDF" logical database is used for the selection. The selected objects are displayed in a list. In this list, the objects to be copied are then either selected and given back to the calling program or the objects are maintained in the list itself.

You have the choice of the following maintenance functions:

  • Individual maintenance
    Maintenance of an individual object
  • Sequential maintenance
Maintenance of several selected objects; the systen calls every selected object for maintenance one after the other
  • Multiple maintenance
Maintenance of several selected objects; the systen only offers the first object for maintenance. When you save, the changes made to this object are automatically taken over for all selected objects.

You can use mass selection (multiple maintenance) for maintaining the rules for revenues increasing the budget. To do this, choose Master data -> Control -> Revenues incr.budget -> Mass maintenance.
