Statistical Postings
Description
As of Release 30F/PS/4, you can use statistical postings. The postings are recorded in Funds Management but there is no availability control. These postings are displayed separately in reporting.
Under what conditions is a line item recorded statistically?
- By user exits
- By Customizing (update profile per value type)
- By flagging the commitment item as statistical
- By flagging a document (such as a funds commitment) as statistical
- By flagging the MM movement type as not relevant to the budget (*)
- By flagging the AM transaction type as not relevant to the budget (*)
- By the warehouse concept (*)
In the cases marked with (*), the line items not relevant to the budget were previously automatically provided with commitment items with a financial transaction other than 30.

You will be able to customize the update profiles as of the next release so that you can control the statistical postings individually.

Control of the financial transaction is not affected by this change, that is only commitment items with financial transaction 30 can be recorded statistically.
