Network profile: Enhancements

Description

In Release 3.0F two new indicators have been added to the network profile.

1. Scheduling of material components aligned to the finish date of the activity

Use this indicator to specify whether material components should be staged for the start or finish of an activity.

In previous releases, you could set this indicator on the component detail screen, but not make it generally applicable.

2. Purchase requisition generated at the finish date for externally processed activities

Use this indicator to specify whether a purchase requisition for an externally processed activity or external element gets the start or finish date of the activity/element as a delivery date. The system will show commitments as well as planned costs for the period correspondingly.

This indicator has been included in the network on the external processing overview screen as well as on the external processing detail screen.

Effects on Customizing

The following indicators have been added to the network profile:

• in section Network parameters: Align. Fin. date

• in section Externally processed activity: Purch.Req. fin.

The indicator Purch.Req. fin. has been added to the externally processed activity overview screen as well as to the detail screen.
